The Ministry of Culture, represented by the Arab Cultural Center in Barzeh, in cooperation with the Damascus Foundation for Thought, has announced the launch of a free training workshop entitled “Young Journalist.”

The workshop will be supervised by Ms. Haneen Kharsaa and aims to develop children’s media and communication skills while enhancing their ability to express themselves and engage in constructive dialogue.

The workshop includes a range of key topics, most notably introducing children to the role of a journalist, developing public speaking and presentation skills, building confidence when speaking before an audience, mastering body language, and strengthening communication and interview management abilities.

The workshop is designed for children aged 9 to 12 years old, with the goal of discovering and nurturing their media talents and helping them develop their personalities through interactive training activities in a supportive learning environment.

The workshop will be held at the Arab Cultural Center in Barzeh – Pre-fabricated Building Area, at the end of the Qasioun Mall ascent, and participation is open to all interested children. The workshop is completely free of charge.

The center welcomed children and their families and expressed its hope that participants will enjoy an enriching educational experience that contributes to building a generation capable of expressing ideas with confidence, creativity, and awareness.
