The Al-Jalaa Sports City hosted today the SFA Golden Awards 2026 ceremony, organized by the Syrian Football Association in cooperation with “Ana Syria” TV, to honor the most outstanding players, coaches, and teams who delivered remarkable performances during the 2025–2026 Syrian football season, in the presence of sports and official figures.
The ceremony honored a number of Syrian football stars. Masa Meena received the Best Player award at the sixth West Asia U-17 Girls Championship, while her teammate Media Hussein was named Best Goalkeeper.
In the Syrian Premier League, Al-Fidaa Homs goalkeeper Ahmad Madaniya won the “Al-Sarout” Award for Best Goalkeeper. Ahli Aleppo coach Ahmad Hawash was named Best Coach, while defender Abdul Razzaq Mohammad received the Best Defender award. Ahmad Al-Ahmad was crowned Best Player in the Syrian Premier League.
Mazen Shalat was also honored with the Best Emerging Player award in recognition of his outstanding performances throughout the season. In addition, Army Club striker Mohammad Al-Waked received the award for the all-time top scorer in the Syrian Premier League.
The honors also extended to the winning teams, with the Syrian Football Association recognizing Tishreen Club’s youth team, champions of the Syrian Youth League for the 2025–2026 season.
The SFA Golden Awards 2026 ceremony was held as part of efforts to honor individual and collective achievements in Syrian football, highlight the efforts of players, coaches, and teams, promote a culture of excellence, and encourage continued development and competition in the seasons ahead.
