Israeli occupation forces advanced into several areas in the countryside of Quneitra Governorate in southwestern Syria, carrying out raids and search operations targeting civilians’ homes, alongside the arrest of a young man from the area.
The Quneitra Media Directorate reported that an Israeli force consisting of three tanks stormed the surroundings of Tal al-Dur’iyat in the southern countryside of the governorate, where search operations were conducted inside the hill amid heavy gunfire directed toward the area.
In a related development, another Israeli force entered the town of Jbata al-Khashab in the northern countryside of Quneitra during the previous night and carried out raids targeting two homes, accompanied by thorough search operations, before arresting a young man from the town and transferring him to the Israeli military base located within the Jbata al-Khashab Natural Reserve.
Meanwhile, local sources stated that Israeli forces targeted agricultural lands and shepherds in the Wadi al-Raqad area with gunfire originating from the al-Qalla area near the town of Maariya in the western countryside of Daraa.
The sources added that Israeli forces used a DShK heavy machine gun mounted on a military vehicle, with no injuries reported so far.
