The meeting addressed ways to develop cooperation between the two countries in cultural and academic domains during an official session held in the Qatari capital, Doha.

The discussions focused on enhancing partnerships between cultural and academic institutions in both countries, as well as supporting joint initiatives aimed at promoting cultural and knowledge exchange. These efforts are intended to expand the scope of Arab cooperation more broadly. The two sides also emphasized the importance of investing in culture and education as fundamental pillars for development and for building bridges of communication between peoples.

The meeting comes as part of a visit by the Syrian minister to Qatar, during which he is participating in several cultural events, including activities related to the Doha International Book Fair, which hosts a number of Arab and international intellectuals and publishing houses.

Both sides reaffirmed the importance of continuing cultural and educational coordination in the coming period, in a way that strengthens bilateral relations and opens the door to new cooperative projects and programs that serve the shared interests of both countries.
