The Minister of Health, Musab Al-Ali, announced measures to redistribute medical personnel and healthcare services from major cities to more remote provinces, with the aim of improving access to healthcare across all Syrian regions.
Al-Ali explained that the ministry is working on implementing a comprehensive strategic plan based on eight main pillars, aimed at achieving greater fairness in the distribution of healthcare resources and facilities.
He also noted that the Ministry of Finance has completed the executive instructions related to Decree No. 68 concerning the salaries of healthcare sector employees, affirming that the results will be satisfactory for medical staff.
The minister further revealed a plan to rebuild approximately 12 destroyed hospitals across several provinces, as part of efforts to rehabilitate the health sector and improve services provided to citizens.
Al-Ali emphasized that ensuring the availability of healthcare services in all areas is a key factor in encouraging displaced persons in camps to return to their original regions.
