Sham Cash announced that it has completed all necessary technical preparations to expand its electronic payment services to cover a wider range of public and private entities, amid growing demand for bill payment services through the application since the beginning of 2026.
Mohammad Basiki, Director of Marketing and Public Relations at the company, stated that Sham Cash has begun receiving API integration requests from companies and applications wishing to join the platform through a dedicated registration link. This initiative aims to strengthen digital integration and broaden the scope of electronic payment services.
Basiki noted that the platform currently provides a variety of services, including passport-related transactions, higher education services, university admission applications, the Syrian Virtual University, as well as telecommunications, Hajj, and Umrah services.
He added that any new service is incorporated into the platform only after completing the necessary coordination procedures and technical integration with the relevant entity, emphasizing the company’s openness to cooperation with both government institutions and private-sector organizations.
Basiki also revealed that technical and operational arrangements are still underway with several banks following a series of meetings with banking institutions. The goal is to launch a service that will allow users to transfer funds directly from their Sham Cash wallet to bank accounts, as well as receive transfers from bank accounts into the electronic wallet without the need for cash transactions.
