The Arab Cultural Center in Al-Tabqa officially launched the activities of its Summer Children’s Club in a vibrant and joyful atmosphere, with the participation of a large number of children who enthusiastically engaged in a variety of programs and activities designed to nurture their talents and enrich their summer vacation.
The opening ceremony featured theatrical performances, interactive entertainment, and recreational activities aimed at bringing joy to children, encouraging teamwork and participation, and providing a safe environment that combines learning with fun.
As part of the accompanying program, the Child Culture Department of the Raqqa Directorate of Culture, in cooperation with Ashti Organization, organized an awareness-raising theatrical activity as part of the World Day Against Child Labour campaign. The performance highlighted the dangers of child labour and its negative impact on children’s future, their right to education, and their right to live with dignity.
The event also included a range of cultural and recreational activities, such as competitions, games, and interactive sessions designed to raise awareness of children’s rights and promote the values of protection and education. The activities were held in an engaging and enjoyable atmosphere, attracting significant participation from both children and their families.
These activities are part of ongoing efforts to provide children with a supportive cultural and educational environment during the summer holiday, foster their creativity, and strengthen community awareness of children’s rights and the importance of protecting them from all forms of exploitation
