The Summer Youth Club for Orphans was inaugurated in the presence of Minister of Culture Mohammed Yassin Al-Saleh and Minister of Endowments Mohammed Abu Al-Khair Shukri. The initiative is organized by Al-Sham Association for Orphans under the patronage of the Ministry of Endowments, with the aim of providing an educational, developmental, and recreational environment that supports orphans and helps develop their abilities.
The launch of the project comes as part of efforts to strengthen cooperation among national institutions in supporting the most vulnerable groups through programs that combine cultural, educational, and youth-oriented activities, contributing to the development of participants’ skills and the refinement of their personalities.
The club includes a range of facilities dedicated to various activities, including a mosque for Qur’an memorization, a games hall, and a football field. It also offers educational and recreational programs designed to make productive use of young people’s free time during the summer holiday, while providing a safe and stimulating environment that helps them develop their abilities and strengthens their integration into society.
