The General Authority for Border Crossings and Customs announced that more than 370,000 Syrian citizens have voluntarily returned to the country through border crossings with Lebanon since the fall of the regime, including approximately 125,000 returnees through the Jdeidet Yabous crossing.

The Authority confirmed that the flow of returnees into Syria continues, noting that a package of facilitations and simplified procedures has been implemented to ensure a safe, smooth, and comfortable passage for those arriving.

According to the Authority, these measures include simplifying administrative procedures, accelerating processing times, and exempting personal belongings and household items from customs duties, helping to ease the burden on returning families.

The Authority added that its personnel continue to work around the clock to organize border traffic and ensure the smooth flow of procedures, enabling the provision of the best possible services to returnees and supporting their efforts to settle and reintegrate into their homeland.
