The Syrian President held two separate phone calls with the President of the United Arab Emirates and the Emir of the State of Qatar, during which they discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations, as well as the latest regional developments.
During the call with the UAE President, both sides reviewed the fraternal ties between the two countries and explored opportunities to expand joint cooperation, particularly in the fields of development, economy, and investment, in a manner that supports development priorities and serves mutual interests. They also reaffirmed their commitment to further advancing Syrian-Emirati relations to promote prosperity and sustainable development for the benefit of both peoples.
The conversation also addressed several regional issues of mutual concern, particularly the latest developments in the Middle East and ongoing efforts to promote security, stability, and peace across the region.
In a separate call with the Emir of Qatar, the Syrian President discussed bilateral relations and prospects for strengthening cooperation between the two countries, in addition to regional developments, particularly the latest progress in negotiations between the United States and Iran and efforts aimed at supporting diplomatic solutions that contribute to regional security and stability.
Both sides stressed the importance of continued coordination and consultation, as well as support for regional and international efforts to de-escalate tensions and preserve the security and stability of the region in a way that serves the interests of its peoples.
