The Ministry of Education announced that the preliminary indicators of the Mathematics exam results for General Secondary Certificate students are reassuring, noting that they exceed the indicators recorded last year.
The Ministry explained that random samples of answer sheets from five governorates were reviewed, with the initial results showing a success rate of approximately 70%, compared to 66% in similar samples last year. It also noted that a number of students within these samples achieved full marks.
The Ministry stated that marking and verification processes are still ongoing in accordance with the approved procedures and standards, emphasizing that the evaluation of exam results is based on actual data derived from the marking process rather than impressions or opinions circulating on social media.
The Ministry called on students to continue taking their exams with confidence and calm, avoid being influenced by rumors or unofficial information, and focus on completing their examinations positively and without anxiety or stress.
