Today, the Ministry of Culture inaugurated its pavilion at the Nass Tex International Exhibition, the first comprehensive textile exhibition in the Middle East, offering visitors a cultural journey through the rich history of Syrian textiles, spanning thousands of years and reflecting a legacy of civilization and enduring creativity.

From Damascus, a city that has witnessed the rise and fall of successive civilizations, the pavilion highlights the significance of Syrian textiles as more than just a craft or industry. It presents them as a cultural identity and an authentic heritage that embodies the exceptional skills of Syrian artisans and the diversity of their artistic traditions throughout history.

The pavilion features exhibits illustrating the evolution of this remarkable art form, conveying a message of the continuity of Syrian creativity and its ability to preserve its authenticity while embracing the present, ensuring that Syrian textiles remain a distinguished ambassador of Syrian culture to the world.
