The Ministry of Culture’s pavilion witnessed remarkable attendance on the first day of its participation in the NAS TEX International Textile Exhibition, welcoming more than 1,000 visitors, including traditional craft enthusiasts, industry professionals, and members of the public. This strong turnout reflects the growing interest in Syria’s cultural heritage and the artistic and historical values it embodies.

The pavilion offered visitors a rich journey through the threads of Syrian heritage and the beauty of traditional craftsmanship, showcasing a variety of handcrafted textile products that highlight the exceptional skills of Syrian artisans and the rich cultural identity that has been passed down through generations and preserved over time.

The exhibits introduced visitors to the history of Syrian textiles, their distinctive weaving techniques, and authentic decorative patterns that reflect the cultural diversity of different Syrian governorates. They also highlighted ongoing efforts to preserve traditional crafts and ensure their sustainability as an integral part of the nation’s cultural identity and a source of creativity and cultural production.

Visitors expressed their admiration for the pavilion’s displays, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives in promoting Syria’s cultural heritage, reviving traditional crafts, and strengthening their presence at both local and international events.
