Under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture, the Abu Tammam Festival concluded its cultural and artistic activities at the Cultural Center in the city of Daraa, following two days of literary, poetic, and artistic events celebrating the legacy of the renowned Arab poet Abu Tammam and his enduring place in Arab cultural heritage.
The closing day featured a poetry evening with the participation of distinguished Syrian and Arab poets, in addition to a literary lecture delivered by the Director of Education in Daraa, Mr. Mohammad Suleiman Al-Kafri, who addressed various aspects of the cultural and literary landscape. The program also included artistic and youth performances that enriched the festival and added diversity and vitality to its activities.
The festival concluded with a ceremony honoring participating writers, poets, and artists in recognition of their contributions to the success of the event and their role in enriching the cultural scene through their creative work, reinforcing the festival’s mission as a platform for cultural dialogue and a forum for creativity and intellectual exchange.
