Deputy Minister of Culture Inspects the Ministry’s Pavilion at the Nastex International Exhibition Ahead of Its Opening

Deputy Minister of Culture, Mr. Saad Naasan, conducted an inspection visit to the Ministry of Culture’s pavilion at the Nastex International Exhibition ahead of its official opening. During the visit, he reviewed the final preparations and finishing touches and received a briefing on the pavilion’s contents and the activities that will be presented to visitors throughout the exhibition.

 

The Deputy Minister emphasized the importance of participating in this event as an opportunity to showcase the historical significance of Syrian textiles and highlight their cultural and civilizational value, reflecting the richness of Syria’s traditional craftsmanship and the excellence it has achieved across generations.

 

The Ministry of Culture’s pavilion features a selection of Syrian textile heritage, along with informational materials that shed light on the cultural legacy associated with this industry. The participation is part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to preserve cultural heritage, promote awareness of it, and strengthen its presence at both local and international events.

 

This participation also reflects the Ministry’s vision of supporting cultural industries and traditional crafts while reaffirming the importance of preserving and promoting Syria’s cultural identity before exhibition visitors and specialists.
