The Ministry of Culture, in cooperation with the Italian Embassy in Damascus, organized a musical evening entitled “Italian Breezes” at the Damascus Opera House as part of the celebrations marking Italy’s National Day and in support of strengthening cultural and artistic ties between the two countries.
The concert featured Italian musicians Francesco Perzati and Gian Paolo Rinaldi, accompanied by the Syrian National Symphony Orchestra. They presented a diverse musical program that included selections from some of the most renowned Italian classical and contemporary works, attended by cultural and artistic enthusiasts, as well as diplomatic and cultural figures.
The event provided an artistic space for interaction between Syrian and Italian cultures, demonstrating how music serves as a universal language capable of transcending borders and fostering dialogue among peoples. It also highlighted the high artistic standards of the performers, whose presentations were warmly received and appreciated by the audience.
This event comes within the framework of ongoing efforts to expand cultural cooperation and exchange artistic expertise, contributing to the promotion of openness and cultural communication.
