Director General of the Arab Encyclopedia Authority, Iyad Al-Tabbaa, announced that the Authority is preparing to enter a new phase of digital transformation by venturing into the field of artificial intelligence through a strategic partnership with a global company specializing in information technology. The initiative aims to integrate the Authority’s reliable scientific content into a modern artificial intelligence platform that keeps pace with global developments in knowledge production, presentation, and updating.
Al-Tabbaa explained that the project seeks to improve researchers’ and interested users’ access to accurate scientific information while leveraging artificial intelligence technologies to develop search and updating mechanisms. He also noted that there are plans to establish networking and cooperation with Wikipedia, which would help expand the reach of Arab knowledge content and make it accessible to a broader range of users.
Al-Tabbaa made the remarks during a lecture organized by the Abu Rummaneh Arab Cultural Center in cooperation with the Arab Encyclopedia Authority, entitled “An Overview of the Work of the Arab Encyclopedia Authority.” During the lecture, he reviewed the Authority’s key achievements and scientific publications, as well as its future plans for digital transformation and the new projects it launched this year.
The lecture highlighted the Authority’s efforts to develop its knowledge tools and keep pace with digital transformations, strengthening its role as a scientific and cultural institution committed to providing reliable and continually updated content that meets the demands of the modern era and keeps pace with rapid technological developments.
