As part of the Ministry of Culture’s vision and strategy aimed at developing cultural work and enhancing its integration at the national level, the First Syrian Cultural Conference is being held with the participation of the Ministry’s directorates, affiliated bodies, and institutions. The conference represents a significant step toward unifying efforts and coordinating cultural initiatives in line with the requirements of the coming phase.

The conference serves as a platform for dialogue and the exchange of expertise and ideas among various cultural stakeholders. It will also witness the launch of a number of new cultural projects and initiatives designed to advance the cultural sector, strengthen its institutions and tools, and enhance its role in building social awareness and preserving the national cultural identity.

Through this conference, the Ministry seeks to establish a collaborative approach to cultural work and open broader horizons for cooperation among cultural institutions. These efforts aim to improve the efficiency of cultural performance, expand the scope of services and programs offered to the public, support creativity and cultural practitioners, and provide a more effective and sustainable environment for cultural activities across Syria’s governorates.

The conference reflects the Ministry’s commitment to culture as a fundamental pillar of development and highlights its role in promoting dialogue, openness, and cultural diversity. It is expected to contribute positively to Syria’s cultural landscape and help build a more vibrant and promising future for the cultural sector.
