The Directorate of Fine Arts at the Ministry of Culture has announced the launch of the first edition of the Annual Syrian Visual Arts Exhibition, titled “Art Leaves an Impact 2026”, in a step aimed at establishing a yearly cultural tradition that brings together Syrian artists and showcases the diversity of visual artistic experiences from across the country.
The exhibition seeks to provide an artistic platform that brings together the works and experiences of Syrian artists from different generations, contributing to strengthening the presence of visual arts within Syria’s cultural landscape. It also aims to foster dialogue and interaction between artists and the public, highlight creative talents, and document the country’s contemporary artistic movement.
The exhibition welcomes submissions in a range of artistic disciplines, including painting, sculpture, photography, graphic arts, Arabic calligraphy, and ceramics, reflecting the richness and diversity of Syria’s artistic schools and creative approaches.
The Directorate of Fine Arts has invited artists wishing to participate to submit their applications before the deadline of 23 July 2026, after which the selected works will be featured in the first edition of the exhibition.
