Ministry of Interior: New Evidence Reveals the Fate of Dr. Rania Al-Abbasi’s Children and Confirms Their Killing

The Ministry of Interior announced that ongoing investigations into the disappearance of Dr. Rania Al-Abbasi’s children have led to new information and evidence indicating that the children were killed by groups and militias affiliated with the former regime, following the interrogation of several detainees linked to the case.

The ministry explained that the National Commission for Missing Persons provided it with video footage and information related to the case, which contributed to supporting the course of the investigation and strengthening the evidence available to the competent authorities.

According to the preliminary findings of the investigations, indications have emerged suggesting the involvement of Amjad Youssef in the crime. Meanwhile, the relevant authorities continue to complete investigative procedures and collect the necessary evidence, in addition to pursuing other potential suspects in preparation for taking legal action against them.

The ministry affirmed its commitment to keeping the public informed of any developments or new findings as soon as investigations and legal procedures are completed, in a manner that ensures the full truth is uncovered and justice is achieved for the victims and their families.

At the conclusion of its statement, the Ministry of Interior expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the children, praying that the victims be granted God’s vast mercy and that their loved ones be given patience and solace.
