The Minister of Energy has approved the recommendations of the Permanent Committee for Pricing Petroleum Products and Mineral Resources, issued following its extraordinary meeting after reviewing the technical and economic indicators related to the petroleum products market.
The attached pricing bulletin outlines the newly approved prices in the new Syrian pound, which came into effect immediately upon its issuance.
The updated prices are as follows:
– Octane 95 gasoline: Reduced by 20.39%, with the new price set at 130 new Syrian pounds per liter.
– Octane 90 gasoline: Reduced by 19.97%, with the new price set at 125 new Syrian pounds per liter.
– Diesel: Reduced by 14.37%, bringing the price to 107 new Syrian pounds per liter.
– Household LPG cylinder: Reduced by 15.49%, with the new price set at 1,500 new Syrian pounds.
– Industrial LPG cylinder: Reduced by 15.49%, with the new price set at 2,400 new Syrian pounds.
The decision comes as part of the government’s periodic price review process, based on the committee’s recommendations and in line with current economic developments, with the aim of enhancing market stability and ensuring the sustainable availability of petroleum products in the interest of citizens and the national economy.
