Dimasheq

The Minister of Education, Muhammad Abdul Rahman Turko, confirmed the continued implementation of the educational integration plan in the eastern provinces, within the framework of applying the unified Syrian national curriculum. He explained that around 38,000 male and female teachers who previously worked under the “Autonomous Administration” institutions have been integrated into the national education system.

The minister stated that the ministry has so far opened 2,350 schools operating under the unified Syrian government curriculum, since the start of the second semester of the current academic year.

Turko also pointed out that a decision has been issued allowing students who previously studied under the “Autonomous Administration” curricula to sit for general certificate examinations according to the curricula they were taught, limited to the current academic year and the next one.

He added that these measures are part of a comprehensive national project aimed at unifying the educational pathway in Syria and strengthening national belonging, stressing that education is one of the key factors in unifying citizens and contributes to building individuals and preparing future generations.
