Minister of Culture Mohammad Yassin Al-Saleh affirmed during his visit to the Syria International Textile Exhibition “Nass Tex” that Syrian textiles are not merely an industrial sector, but an authentic cultural and civilizational heritage reflecting Syria’s long history in industry and trade. He emphasized that the textile sector embodies the national identity that has been passed down through generations.

Al-Saleh explained that the “Nass Tex” exhibition represents an important milestone in Syria’s economic and industrial recovery, highlighting the progress achieved by national production lines and showcasing the capabilities of the Syrian textile industry to regain its position both locally and regionally.

He noted that the exhibition presents a positive image of Syria’s ongoing revival through its high level of organization, the broad participation of economic and industrial stakeholders, and the secure environment that enables the hosting of international events. He added that these factors reflect the return of productive and cultural activity across various sectors.

The Minister of Culture added that “Nass Tex” is more than a product exhibition; it delivers a message that Syria is reclaiming its position while demonstrating the authenticity and creativity of its people. He praised the efforts made to ensure the exhibition’s success and to strengthen the presence of Syrian industry in regional and international markets.

The “Nass Tex” exhibition features broad participation from local, Arab, and international companies, attracting significant attention for showcasing the history of Syrian textiles and traditional craftsmanship alongside the latest technologies and products in the textile sector.
