The wife of Syrian President Ahmad Al-Sharaa, Mrs. Latifa Al-Droubi, visited the Syria International Textile Exhibition “Nass Tex” at the Damascus Fairgrounds today, where she toured the participating pavilions and viewed a wide range of products and modern technologies in the textile sector.

 

Her visit included the furniture and fabric sections, as well as pavilions showcasing textile manufacturing machinery and equipment. She was introduced to products presented by exhibitors that reflect the capabilities of Syrian industry and its potential for further development.

 

Mrs. Al-Droubi emphasized the importance of reviving Syria’s textile industry, describing it as a vital sector that supports the national economy, creates employment opportunities, and contributes to sustainable development. She stressed the need to revitalize the industry and restore its historic standing
