The Mzannar family played a pivotal role in preserving and developing this ancient craft. In 1890, Anton Mzannar established the first integrated brocade manufacturing workshop in Damascus, contributing significantly to strengthening the reputation of this textile and expanding its presence in various markets while preserving the traditions and secrets of the craft passed down through generations.
