A new book titled The Sun Is All Over My Face by poet and journalist Youssef Bazzi is set to be published soon by Riyad El-Rayyes Books and Publishing. The new literary work bears the signature of one of the prominent voices in Lebanon’s contemporary cultural scene.
The book marks a new chapter in Bazzi’s poetic journey, which for years has explored questions of the human being, the city, and memory, bringing together the poet’s sensitivity with the perspective of a journalist who has followed political and cultural transformations in Lebanon and the region.
The title, The Sun Is All Over My Face, carries poetic connotations that open onto themes of light, confrontation, and existence. Through this work, Youssef Bazzi continues his literary project, in which poetry intersects with contemplation of both personal and collective experience.
Youssef Bazzi is a Lebanese poet and journalist and currently serves as editor-in-chief of the online newspaper Al-Modon. He is considered one of the prominent figures in the contemporary Lebanese and Arab cultural and journalistic scene, with extensive contributions to poetry, criticism, and political and cultural writing.
