The Ministry of Culture participated in the activities of the First National Conference on Judicial Mediation, organized by the Ministry of Justice at the Seven Gates Hotel in Damascus, under the patronage of Minister of Justice Dr. Mazhar Al-Wais, and attended by Minister of Culture Mohammed Yassin Al-Saleh, along with a number of ministers, officials, and legal experts.
During specialized dialogue sessions, the conference discussed the role of judicial mediation in supporting the investment environment, strengthening family reconciliation mechanisms, and benefiting from international experiences and expertise. It also examined mechanisms for developing judicial mediation as a complementary pathway to the judicial system.
The participation of the Ministry of Culture underscored the importance of integration among national institutions in promoting a culture of dialogue and understanding, and in raising legal and societal awareness. This contributes to building an environment based on resolving disputes through peaceful means and strengthening bridges of understanding within society.
