Ministry of Education: National Summer School Activities Program to Launch in August, Student Participation Voluntary

Hassan Al-Hassan, Director of the Activities and Protection Department at the Ministry of Education, announced that the National Summer School Activities Program will begin in August and will target students across all educational stages in all Syrian governorates. He noted that participation in the program will be voluntary.

 

Al-Hassan explained that participating students will receive certificates of participation or excellence in accordance with the approved regulations. Outstanding initiatives and programs that demonstrate a positive educational impact may also be recognized. He added that the Ministry will provide an appropriate organizational environment to ensure compliance with public safety standards, guarantee equal opportunities for all students, and encourage teachers and volunteers to take part in implementing the activities.

 

The program includes a wide range of cultural, scientific, and literary activities, as well as art, music, and theater competitions, sports and scouting activities, reading and literacy programs, innovation and scientific research initiatives, educational and recreational trips, field visits, and volunteer and community service programs. These activities aim to develop students’ personalities, enhance their skills, and provide them with a safe and supportive educational environment.
