In the Presence of the Ministers of Culture and Awqaf.. Summer Youth Club for Orphans Opens to Promote Care and Skills Development

Dimasheq

The Summer Youth Club for Orphans was inaugurated in the presence of Minister of Culture Mohammad Yassin Al-Saleh and Minister of Awqaf Mohammad Abu Al-Khair Shukri, in a step aimed at providing an integrated educational and cultural environment that contributes to caring for orphans and developing their abilities. The project is organized by Al-Sham Orphans Association under the patronage of the Ministry of Awqaf.

The launch of the club comes as part of efforts to support community initiatives dedicated to orphans and strengthen programs aimed at developing their intellectual, social, and athletic skills. It also seeks to help them make productive use of their summer vacation through educational and recreational activities that contribute to building their personalities and nurturing their talents.

The project organizers emphasized that the club embodies the integration of efforts between national and community institutions in caring for orphans by providing a safe space that combines education, cultural enrichment, and recreation. This environment promotes values of belonging, cooperation, and teamwork while opening new opportunities for participants to discover and develop their abilities.

The club includes a range of facilities and services, including a mosque for Qur’an memorization, a hall for games and recreational activities, and a football field, in addition to educational, cultural, and sports programs designed to develop life skills and enhance participants’ self-confidence.

The project reflects the Ministry of Awqaf’s and its partners’ commitment to supporting initiatives that contribute to empowering orphaned children and youth and providing a nurturing environment that helps them achieve balanced growth. It also aligns with efforts to strengthen social solidarity and invest in human development.
