The Arab Syrian Judo, Sambo, and Kurash Federation concluded the activities of the Central Specialized Course for Blind Judo Referees, as part of its efforts to keep pace with the latest developments in judo and to strengthen the principles of inclusivity and equality within the Syrian sports system.
The course was attended by the President and members of the Federation, in addition to wide participation from a select group of Syrian referees, who contributed to enriching the course topics through discussions and the exchange of expertise, thereby enhancing the level of national refereeing and raising the efficiency of technical staff.
The course focused on explaining international judo rules and reviewing the latest amendments issued by the International Judo Federation, with special attention given to the rules and regulations governing blind judo competitions.
At the conclusion of the course, the participating referees expressed their appreciation for this important initiative, emphasizing its significance in developing refereeing performance and qualifying national cadres capable of managing blind judo competitions with high efficiency, and representing Syria honorably in both local and international arenas.
