The Syria Cybersecurity Summit 2026 kicks off today, Sunday, with the participation of more than 500 Syrian, Arab, and international experts and specialists. The summit will continue through August 27 and will be held virtually via an interactive digital platform dedicated to participants.
The National Authority for Information Technology Services stated that the summit’s program includes more than 37 hours of specialized sessions, workshops, and discussions addressing a range of cybersecurity-related issues, including cyberspace laws, artificial intelligence, cyber threat response, industrial systems security, the human factor, and innovation.
The summit is organized by the Syrian Computer Society in cooperation with the international company “Consensus,” under the patronage of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and the National Authority for Information Technology Services.
The summit aims to showcase the latest cybersecurity solutions and technologies, exchange expertise and best practices in addressing challenges related to protecting digital infrastructure, and strengthen cooperation among specialists and relevant stakeholders.
The event also provides participants with opportunities to hold one-on-one meetings and exchange digital business cards, contributing to expanding networking opportunities and building partnerships among government entities, the private sector, experts, and technology entrepreneurs.
