Hama Directorate of Culture Organizes a Short Story Morning and Intellectual Lecture as Part of the “Hama Rhymes Forum” Activities in Masyaf

The Hama Directorate of Culture continues its cultural and literary program within the activities of the “Hama Rhymes Forum” by organizing a short story morning featuring a distinguished group of writers and authors, alongside an intellectual lecture delivered by Dr. Walid Saraqbi entitled “Prominent Scholars of Textual Verification in Syria”, at the Cultural Center in the city of Masyaf.

 

The literary morning will include readings of short stories and various literary texts highlighting humanitarian, social, and cultural issues, with the aim of enriching Syria’s cultural scene and reinforcing the role of literature as a platform for dialogue and the expression of diverse societal concerns.

 

Dr. Walid Saraqbi’s lecture will shed light on some of Syria’s most prominent scholars of textual verification, their contributions to preserving and editing the Arab literary heritage and manuscripts, and their role in serving Arab culture while emphasizing its scholarly and intellectual significance.

 

The Hama Directorate of Culture invites all those interested in cultural and literary affairs to attend the event, which will take place on Monday, 29 June 2026, at 1:00 p.m., at the Cultural Center in Masyaf, reaffirming its commitment to supporting cultural activity and strengthening communication between creators and the public.
