Al-Hasakah Governor Nour al-Din Ahmad announced that 40 judges from the Autonomous Administration will undergo interviews conducted by the Ministry of Justice in Damascus, in two batches, as part of a plan to integrate the Autonomous Administration’s institutions into state institutions.
Ahmad explained that the first group, consisting of 20 judges, is attending interviews today, Sunday, while the second group of 20 judges will travel to Damascus to complete their interviews on Monday and Tuesday, according to the Rudaw news outlet.
He noted that this step is intended to pave the way for integrating the Autonomous Administration’s judges into the government’s judicial system, after which they will begin serving in the courts of Al-Hasakah and Qamishli.
The governor stressed that work is continuing at the administrative, judicial, and economic levels to manage the affairs of the governorate and reactivate state institutions during the coming phase.
He added that he is currently in Damascus to complete a number of official and administrative tasks, in addition to attending the constitutional oath ceremony for members of the People’s Assembly. He also said that he will hold a series of meetings and discussions related to the institutional integration process and the reactivation of government institutions and administrative bodies across the governorate.
Ahmad further revealed that interviews are also being conducted with candidates for new director positions in government institutions, with the selection process expected to be completed later this week.
